Change can be a scary thing – especially when it involves everyone in the practice. We just had our “Go Live” day with our new PM system and Bill definitely put at us ease with the transition. His confidence in his team with Dustin, Chuck and Mike filtered down to the Administrator, Doctors and staff at Carty Eye Associates, which helped with the conversion jitters.
We still have a second phase with EMR to go, but feel that we are in good hands with Bill and his team to steer us in the right direction and make the transition as seamless as possible.

We have just gone “live” with our EMR system…I just wanted you to know what a great job Bill has done for us. Dustin was great doing installations and tweaking some of the computers we had.
When we first met Bill, he kept telling me : “Leave everything to me and I will make it work!”
He has not disappointed…...He was there for the first few days of “live” to answer questions and make sure things were working.
All the exam rooms have been configured according to his suggestions and they are very user friendlly.
We had one or two issues with downloading tests from some machines, and he fixed them immediately.
He’s been totally available and committed to making our office system network properly….I think he worried about things as much as i did!!!
If all your workers at Gibraltar perform and deliver like Bill, you will have lots of grateful customers going forward.

Syync is very fortunate to have Kevin working for them. I have had nothing but pleasant experiences when dealing with him on the phone or in person. If I give a direction for my website and he doesn’t agree, Kevin is careful, patient, and yet insistent that the idea I have given is not the best idea. Most other vendors would run off to try to implement an idea, and are more than happy to run up a large bill. Kevin, on the other hand, truly cares about the success of his product - my website, and so stands firm if the idea is not a good one. He respectfully disagrees. I appreciate that candor and integrity. Again, Gibraltar/Syync is very fortunate to have Kevin representing them for website development.

I am writing to let you know what a great job Bill Slaymaker has been doing for us.
A few months ago we contracted with MD Office to provide the computer software for our ophthalmology office. They recommended Gibraltar and Bill Slaymaker came to the office to give us the sales pitch. We were all immediately impressed with his quiet confidence and knowledge and signed up.!
Since then Bill has been terrific guiding us through our computer needs and overseeing the installation (which is still taking place.) He carefully evaluated what we needed which was a challenge since he was dealing with two offices with old equipment.
Today we had our first training and he was there to be sure everything went well. Fortunately he was there, because in the middle of the training our old system’s server crashed - leaving us in a desperate place in the middle of training. Bill kept reassuring us we would be fine and worked really hard to get everything running - which he did.
We still have lots more to do with the installation of electronic medical records in two months, but we have all been appreciative for his expertise and caring to make the systems work. You are lucky to have such a dedicated person on your team.

I would like to commend Bill Slaymaker for all his expert advice and the attention he has given to Northern Ophthalmic. In my experience, often the “sales pitch” for IT consulting firms sets a fairly high expectation level. From that point, realizing the promise of delivering those results becomes a challenge for both the consultant as well as the client.
Early on, Michael McCain listened well. He guided us through the possibilities while preventing us from losing focus, thereby helping us to prioritize our challenges. As a consequence we have hit the ground running, and truly look forward to taking on new projects.

I met Tom Hogue with his young son one Saturday while walking through the office to pick up some charts. I didn’t know who was more enthused about working on the project! Tom discussed all that they were doing that day, when things were to be completed and reviewed other options that might make our service run more efficiently. His work has been first class and on-time. If there is a problem, he picks up the phone and is immediately on it. We’ve been able to facilitate information and image capture as well as data review. We now have wireless internet for the physicians and staff, as well as patients. This is a great service with attending relatives able to work while their family members are seen.
