  • EHR Developer / Medical Software Architect

    • Overview

      The candidate will be working with a Private Medical Practice(s) on converting physical patient forms to electronic medical records using NextGen software. The candidate will work both remotely and on location in Philadelphia, and will work closely with the staff of the Private Practice(s).

    • Tasks:

      • NextGen Templating
      • Design and layout of interactive forms within the NextGen software
      • Create auto-generated docs and reports from data stored in database. Interface similar to MS Word
      • Manage database records via NextGen GUI
      • Collaborate w/ client to build templates and documents to their specifications

      Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

      • Goal driven and challenge oriented
      • Layout and design knowledge
      • Familiarity with programming concepts is a plus
      • Understanding of relational database concepts is a plus
      • Experience with electronic medical records software is a plus
      • Strong communication skills
      • Ability to work with minimal supervision

  • Network Engineer/Consultant

    • Overview

      As a key member of Gibraltar Technologies, Inc., this position is responsible for all aspects of network administration including servers, desktop systems, communications hardware/software and office systems. Must be able to handle a large workload and multi-task effectively for multiple Clients.

    • ROLE-SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES:

      Networking

      • Understands the issues involved with administering and maintaining corporate infrastructure, including network connectivity, Internet access, email, etc.
      • Understands the issues involved in administering and maintaining multiple corporate WANs.


      Telephony

      • Experience in VOIP Systems (Cisco preferred), planning, installation and proposal generation for projects
      • Assists with the administration and maintenance of the telephone system, including telephone switches.
      • Assists with the creation of new hire telephone and voicemail extensions, routing extensions to appropriate locations and updating information


      Internal Systems

      • Assists in supporting corporate applications; internal corporate servers, user desktops, etc.
      • Assists with basic troubleshooting, backup, and archiving.
      • Helps install and improve computer software and network equipment


      Help Desk Administration

      • Helps answer all trouble calls/emails and enters work orders into our tracking systems.
      • Assists in the administration and maintenance of Internal Systems programs such as Windows Server 2003/2008, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SQL, Cisco IOS, and Electronic


      Healthcare Record (EMR/EHR) applications as well as operating systems used.

      • Interacts with internal clients to resolve basic help desk issues; communicates with internal clients in a professional manner maintaining confidentiality.


      Asset Management

      • Assists with the inventory management of software licenses, software, hardware, and other IT supplies.
      • Assists with the purchase of software, hardware and other IT supplies.
      • Promotes responsible usage and care of corporate equipment.
